OUR APPROACH

LEADERSHIP, PUT INTO PRACTICE

STRIVE believes leadership is something you develop through intentional practice.

Our approach combines social and emotional learning, engaging, experiential curriculum, conversation, and reflection to help people better understand and lead themselves, connect with others, and lead with purpose.

Our Approach

CHARACTER DRIVEN LEADERSHIP

Character driven leadership starts from within.

STRIVE creates experiences that encourage participants to understand who they are, recognize the impact they have on others, and intentionally practice the skills that help people and communities thrive.

Rather than simply talking about leadership, we create opportunities to experience it through play, discussion, reflection, collaboration, and real world application.

THE STRIVE LEADERSHIP APPROACH.

Leadership develops from the inside out. The STRIVE Leadership Approach is built around four connected areas: Know Yourself, Lead Yourself, Understand Others, and Lead With Others. Each area develops specific skills that help people better understand themselves, make intentional choices, strengthen relationships, and lead effectively with others.

1
KNOW THYSELF

Build self awareness by recognizing your values, strengths, emotions, habits, and the impact you have on others.

2
Lead Yourself

Turn awareness into action by managing your energy, making intentional choices, navigating challenges, and staying accountable to your goals.

3
Understand Others

Develop empathy and curiosity so you can better understand different perspectives, experiences, needs, and ways of communicating.

4
Lead With Others

Use trust, communication, collaboration, and shared purpose to strengthen relationships and help groups move forward together.

DESIGNED TO MEET PEOPLE WHERE THEY ARE

No two teams, schools, or communities are exactly alike. STRIVE experiences are designed to adapt to the people, goals, and environments of each partner.

Our curriculum is research informed and brought to life through hands on experiences that prioritize connection, movement, conversation, and reflection.

From a single leadership workshop to ongoing curriculum and professional development, the format may change, but the goal remains the same:

HELP PEOPLE PRACTICE BECOMING THE LEADERS THEY WANT TO BE.

STRIVE draws from established work in social and emotional learning and leadership development, including resources and research from organizations such as CASEL, Character Lab, the Yale Center for Emotional Intelligence, and Growth Equation.
