Leadership Beyond Titles: A Day to Remember at Tower Hill School

On Monday, April 15th, the Strive team visited the beautiful campus of Tower Hill School to work with an inspiring group of 8th grade students. Coach Emily and Coach Aaron lead a dynamic leadership workshop designed to help these young leaders tap into their potential and grow in confidence, communication, and character.

The day kicked off with energy and curiosity. From the very beginning, the 8th graders brought a level of engagement and openness that set the tone for an impactful session. With Coach Emily’s warmth and Coach Aaron’s enthusiasm, the students dove into conversations and activities that encouraged them to reflect on who they are as individuals and how they want to lead others.

Throughout the workshop, we explored what leadership really means – beyond titles or popularity. We challenged the students to think about how they show up for their peers, how they communicate under pressure, and how they can lead with integrity and empathy. From small group exercises to larger team challenges, each moment was designed to stretch their thinking and bring out their unique leadership strengths.

What stood out the most? The way these students supported one another. Whether they were cheering each other on during a group challenge or sharing thoughtful insights during a reflection, their sense of community and respect was something truly special.

As always, we left feeling just as inspired as we hope the students did. The future is bright with leaders like the 8th graders at Tower Hill School – leaders who are willing to listen, learn, and lift others up along the way.

Thank you to the faculty and staff at Tower Hill for welcoming us. We can’t wait to see how these students continue to grow and lead!
