Strive Slam 2025: A Celebration of Community, Competition, and Connection

This year’s Strive Slam at Concord Country Club was one for the books. From the moment the first pickleball serve was hit, you could feel the energy of the Strive community coming together for something bigger than a wonderful day of fun.

Together, we raised $14,175, the most in Strive Slam history! That number represents more than just dollars. It represents the commitment of a community that believes in Strive’s mission to support youth across Delaware, helping them grow into tomorrow’s leaders.

Pickleball, Cornhole, and a Whole Lot of Fun

The competitive spirit was alive and well on the pickleball courts. Close matches, long rallies, and plenty of laughter set the tone for the day. Congratulations to our Strive Slam champions – and a big thank you to Nolan Bacchieri for hosting such an incredible tournament.

Off the courts, friends gathered for cornhole showdowns, and our bingo game crowned its own champion. Whether it was landing a perfect toss or winning a point on the court, every moment carried the joy of participation and the reminder that Strive’s values – fill tanks, stick with it, and choose laughter, are more than words; they’re lived experiences.

More Than a Fundraiser

At Strive, Slam isn’t just about raising money. It’s about celebrating the people who make our mission possible. It’s about showcasing how our work changes lives. And it’s about bringing people together to share in that joy.

Our Slam Auction was a highlight off the courts, drawing in bids for unique experiences and special items. We’re deeply grateful to every organization and individual who donated to make the auction such a success.

Powered by Community

One of the most powerful takeaways from this year’s Slam was the undeniable strength of the Strive community. From sponsors to volunteers, from board members to staff, everyone played a part in making this event possible. A special thank you to our sponsors:

  • Wegmans and Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza & Wings Wilmington for the delicious food that kept us fueled.
  • The Bacchieri Family Foundation, Diana & Thomas Arenberg, The Pulsfort Family, and Sanderlead Studios for sponsoring this year’s event.

And of course, a huge shoutout to the Strive team and board – your hard work, dedication, and creativity made this event such a tremendous success.

Strive Slam 2025 wasn’t just an event; it was a reflection of what happens when a community comes together with purpose and passion. We’re already looking forward to next year, and we can’t wait to see you there!
