Strive Has a New Home in the Heart of Wilmington!

In 2020, Strive found a home at The Teen Warehouse – a vibrant, youth-centered space where we had the honor of collaborating with their incredible Teen Execs and staff. From leadership development sessions to powerful workshops, The Warehouse played a key role in our growth and impact over the past few years. We’re deeply grateful for the time we spent there and the partnerships we built.

Now, we’re entering an exciting new chapter. Strive is moving into a new office at the Community Education Building (CEB) in the heart of downtown Wilmington!

This move is more than a change of address. It’s a strategic step forward – one that positions us at the center of collaboration and impact. Being in the same building as schools and fellow community-based organizations opens up new opportunities to grow our partnerships and serve more students directly. A major catalyst for this transition was the generous support of the Longwood Foundation. When we received the Longwood Foundation Grant in November, one of the key investments was to secure a space that would support the future of Strive. Moving into the CEB was a direct result of that vision – a future-focused decision to expand our reach and deepen our impact.

While we’re still in the process of furnishing and settling into our new space, the energy is already electric. We’re also thrilled to announce a new addition to the team – Aaron Walker, our new Director of Programming! Aaron brings energy, insight, and a deep commitment to our mission. We’re so excited for what’s ahead with him on board.

This move represents our commitment to getting closer to those we serve. We’re excited to continue giving students the tools, resources, and opportunities they need to lead, grow, and succeed.
